All About You: Providing a holistic, client-centered relational approach to psychotherapy. Trauma informed. Brainspotting. EMDR.
We work to facilitate growth toward becoming a balanced, healthy, and cohesive individual who takes responsibility for their life experience. Therapy is about connection. What makes therapy different than other relationships is that therapy is focused on you, 100% of the time.

The purpose of psychotherapy is to help an individual find a life with purpose and with meaning. Often this requires looking at painful memories and parts of ourselves that we do not like. When we take a serious look at our life, it is possible to work through trauma and other struggles to find a new relationship with ourselves.
Although it takes hard work to explore, embrace, and accept the painful experiences in our life, the result is vulnerability infused with gratefulness.
  • Are you struggling with issues related to trauma, anxiety, or depression?
  • Are you feeling burnt out and needing help with work-related stress?
  • Are you struggling to process a recent break-up or big life?
  • Do you feel that alcohol or substance use negatively influences your relationship, health, or
work and want to make change but are unable to do it by yourself?
  • Are you feeling overwhelmed or having difficulty navigating your emotions during pregnancy or
after giving birth to a child?
  • Do you experience difficulties in establishing healthy, loving relationships with a partner or
    family members?
  • Do you feel lost or are you experiencing an existential crisis?
  • Do you need a space where you can be seen, heard, and held?
There often comes a time in our life during which we need support from a professional to cope with ongoing challenges. Good therapy allows you to integrate all your life experiences. It helps you to make sense of the world again after traumatic or stressful events and gives you the skills to move forward in a healthier and happier way.
All About You psychotherapy is Trauma-informed. The principles at the center of a Trauma-informed
System of Care are:
  • Safety – ensuring physical and emotional safety
  • Trustworthiness – maintaining appropriate boundaries and making tasks clear
  • Choice – prioritizing client choice and control
  • Collaboration – maximizing collaboration
  • Empowerment – prioritizing client empowerment and skill building
Being trauma informed is the backbone of all the work we do together. However, it doesn’t stop there. Our integrative approach to therapy provides tools from a wide breadth of modalities that have been developed over the years.

This integrative approach includes but is not limited to tools and skills from fields such as Psychodynamics, CBT, DBT, Family Systems, Mindfulness, Humanistic, Solution-focused, Emotional focused, Gestalt and Transpersona. Brainspotting, EMDR, Polyvagal therapy. Sensotimotor somatic therapy.

FAQs

If you are experiencing adverse mental health symptoms that are interfering with your quality of life then therapy is a great way to begin addressing them. A therapist can help you explore the origin of these symptoms, understand patterns that may be occurring and give you tools to try and manage them. Managing symptoms that negatively impact your life is one reason to see a therapist, however many people enter therapy at a time when they’re feeling neutral about life, or even great! Therapy can simply be a place to gain deeper insight and reflect more fully on who you are, how your relationships work and how to lead a life you love and are proud of.
